Alba Domènech (1983, Barcelona) Alba’s art blends surrealism and Japanese influences, often featuring female figures that symbolize sensuality, feminism, and societal pressures. Butterflies, a recurring symbol in her work, represent fragility, transformation, and strength. Her paintings often contrast dark backgrounds with light areas guided by butterflies, reflecting personal and intimate emotions. Alba’s work explores the tension between reality and consciousness, and the interplay of fantasy and the subconscious. Despite challenges, her passion has led to thought-provoking art that resonates with viewers, earning her critical acclaim. Her art delves into the human experience, exploring the depths of emotion and the complexity of the soul. It reflects the coexistence of beauty and pain, aiming to provoke thought and challenge norms. Alba blends digital drawing and traditional painting to fuse past and future. She starts with manual digital designs, print them with high-quality materials, and add layers of traditional paint using various textures. This approach brings depth and expression to her work, creating unique, luxurious pieces. New and permanent artist in Artevistas Gallery #artgallerybarcelona #artbarcelona #art #artgallery
